Terms of use
Last updated 30 October 2026
These terms apply when you use coinwharf.au. By using the site you agree to them. CoinWharf is run by Matthew Goodwin (ABN 47 747 430 663).
General information, not advice
CoinWharf provides general information to help you understand and compare the cost of buying crypto. It isn't financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and it doesn't take your objectives, financial situation or needs into account. Crypto prices are volatile and you can lose money. Consider whether a purchase suits you, and get independent advice if you need it.
Estimates, not quotes
Comparisons are estimates, worked out from each exchange's public order book and published fees at the time shown on the page. What you actually pay or receive depends on when you trade, the order type, your fee tier, how you fund your account and any other charges. CoinWharf doesn't execute trades, hold money or crypto, or act for any exchange. Always check the final price and fees on the exchange before you confirm a purchase.
Which exchanges are compared
The comparison covers only the exchanges named on the page. It isn't a comparison of every exchange in Australia, and an exchange that isn't listed may be cheaper. Results are ranked by how much crypto your dollars buy, as described next to the table.
How CoinWharf is paid
CoinWharf is free to use. If we ever earn money from an exchange we list, such as a referral fee, we'll say so on the page, and it won't change the order of the results.
Third-party data and links
Prices, order books and withdrawal fees come from CoinGecko and from the exchanges' public data feeds. They may be delayed, incomplete or wrong, so the page shows when each was fetched. Fee schedules are checked by hand on the date shown. Links to other sites are for convenience; we don't control those sites and aren't responsible for them.
Using the site
Please don't disrupt the site, try to get around its security, or make automated requests at a rate that affects other visitors. The site's text, design and code belong to us. Market data belongs to its providers and is shown under their terms.
Your rights under Australian law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, or any other law that can't be excluded. Subject to that, the site is provided free and as is: we don't guarantee that it will be accurate, complete or always available, and to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for loss arising from your use of it or reliance on it, including decisions to buy or sell.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia, and you agree to the jurisdiction of its courts.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the site changes. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and the version on this page is the one that applies.
